Nursing and pediatric training

There is no limitation in nursing profession, AND you have the golden opportunity of working with all walks of life.

In pediatric nursing I nursing students are involved in health promotion of children.

For this purpose, in clinical part of this course, students learn variety of skills including communication tricks, designing helpful and purposeful plays according to developmental stage( that play a key role in growth and development), developmental charts, proper nutrition and malnutrition risk factors, Anthropometery, Physical assessment, Hygienic care, and above all, paving the way to enter hospital in Pediatric nursing II that students are supposed to work with vulnerable population of children.

Last week we visited a Primary school for education purpose. we planned the following activities:

-Oral hygiene

-Hand Hygiene

-Eye care

-Handiwork

-Nutrition

-purposeful plays

The primary students learned a lot
